What is DLD Transfer Fee?
The DLD transfer fee is a 4% government charge on the value of any Dubai property transfer, paid at the Trustee Office when ownership changes hands. It is Dubai's single largest transaction cost for buyers and is due in addition to the trustee, agency and title-deed fees.

The fee is typically borne by the buyer, although the split can be negotiated. It is paid via manager cheque at the Trustee Office on the day of transfer.
